Disney's Riviera Resort Is Opening This Fall, and It Already Looks Like a Dream

Disney World just keeps getting more magical by the minute. According to the theme park's official blog, Disney's Riviera Resort — which was announced among a ton of other exciting new attractions coming to the theme park this year — is officially accepting guest reservations. Projected to open in Fall 2019, the brand new resort is set to be a tribute to European art and architecture, with one to three bedroom villas, towers, and more.

"Disney's Riviera Resort is inspired by Walt and Lillian Disney's travels throughout Europe and the Mediterranean coastline — from France to Italy," Terri Schultz, Disney Vacation Club's senior vice president and general manager, said in a statement. "Walt fell in love with European art, architecture, food, and stories, and his extended tours of the region continue to influence Disney storytelling and theming. We look forward to welcoming our members and guests later this year to this new resort inspired by Europe and imagined by Disney."

Disney's Riviera Resort is now accepting reservations for stays beginning in December, and rates for rooms start at $335 per night. Read ahead for a peek at a few photos of what to expect.
