The Honest Company Has Recalled 1 of Its Popular Baby Products

The Honest Company has issued a voluntary recall on all bottles of its organic baby powder, warning all parents to return the product immediately for a full refund. In a video posted to the company's website on Jan. 11, cofounder Christopher Gavigan warned parents that the organic baby powder has been recalled over concerns of eye and skin infections.

"During recent testing of our organic baby powder, possible contaminations with microorganisms was found, including some species associated with skin or eye infections," Gavigan said. "For that reason and with the full knowledge and under the guidance of the FDA, we've decided to voluntarily recall this product out of an abundance of caution."

The Honest Co.'s organic baby powder is distributed in the United States in 4-ounce containers and has the UPC number 817810014529. Gavigan asserts that no other products of The Honest Company are affected by this recall but to return your baby powder as soon as possible.
