Hillary Clinton Email About Yemeni Girl
This Leaked Hillary Clinton Email Is Going Viral For All the Right Reasons
Hillary Clinton has been catching a lot of flak about her emails the entire election. And it's not just her emails: hacks of the DNC and her campaign chairman John Podesta have also cast shadows over her sincerity. Well, there's at least one email, if not more, that demonstrates the candidate's genuine concern for others.
Dana Schwartz, a journalist at Observer — which is ironically owned by Donald Trump's son in law Jared Kushner — shared a screenshot of an email Clinton sent. It was addressed to Melanne Verveer, a prominent women's rights leader, about a Yemeni girl she met at the United Nations. Referring to the girl's unhappiness, Clinton asks, "Is there anyway we can help her?"

Clinton wrote Verveer after discovering Nujood Ali's (whose name Clinton incorrectly identifies) inability to attend school in Yemen. Ali was the first woman in Yemen to attain a divorce since she was a child bride.
While people continue to vilify Clinton for being inauthentic in her motives, it's exchanges like these that demonstrate just how much she works behind the scenes.
