This Author Has a Viral Message For People Overreacting to the Hillary Clinton Email Drama

British novelist Salman Rushdie has a message for Americans making a big deal out of the new Hillary Clinton email drama: focus. Rushdie wrote a Facebook post that has gone viral about how Donald Trump's offenses are much worse than the latest news that the FBI is investigating emails found on disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop; Weiner is the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

Rushdie lists some Trump's offenses — such as his treatment of women, refusal to release his tax returns, comments about Khizr Khan, rape allegations, and Trump University fraud claims — and writes, "Oh, but let's talk about some emails Hillary didn't send from someone else's computer, that weren't a crime anyway, because that's how to choose a president. Come on, America. Focus."
