Watch a Veteran Send a Chilling Message to President Trump That He's Not Going to Like

Donald Trump has angered a group of Americans he definitely does not want to isolate with his recent policy decisions: veterans.

In a new commercial, a progressive veteran advocacy organization called VoteVets expressed its concerns about Trump's promise to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, which would take away health care from millions of Americans — including veterans. It also touches on Trump's order to temporarily ban citizens from seven predominantly Muslim countries from entering the United States.

.@realDonaldTrump, we're debuting this ad on @Morning_Joe, and taking it to other morning shows you watch, too! pic.twitter.com/LVINhUenaV

The video shows a soldier and amputee speaking directly to the president as he exercises. "President Trump, I hear you watch the morning shows," the veteran chides. "Here's what I do every morning." The unnamed veteran continues by calling out how harmful Trump's policies could be for the country, how he lost the popular vote, and his already tanking approval rating. "Kicking thousands of my fellow veterans off their health insurance by killing the Affordable Care Act and banning Muslims won't help," he says.

Perhaps the most powerful line of the ad comes at the end. "That's not the America I sacrificed for," the veteran says. "You want to be a legitimate president, sir? Then act like one."
