Love Actually Spoof Explains Why We Love Our Cats Despite How Annoying They Can Be

I was a dog person up until a few years ago when I rescued two cats, and while they're the loves of my life, I've never been more annoyed by a pet than I am by these two wild and sweet girls. In a hilarious spoof of that Love Actually scene — you know, the one where Andrew Lincoln's character professes his love to Keira Knightley's character even though she's married to his best friend? — social-media-famous cat Lizzy, aka OwlKitty, changed up Andrew's cards to be dedicated to a cat instead. And man, if these reasons for loving our feline friends aren't spot on, we don't know what is.

"Dear Kitty," the first card reads (there's no "Say Meow it's carol singers" card, which is a missed joke opportunity, in my opinion). "Even though you keep me up at night, destroy my furniture, and are currently chewing on my headphones, to me you are purrrfect."

Ain't that the truth?! See the full video above — it'll make you emotional despite how hysterical the whole concept is.
