Coach Lana Shoulder Bag 23 ($395)
A hobo bag will always be cool, but given the boho trend's resurgence in fashion this season, this one will have a special place in my closet. I love the small but noticeable signature "C" hardware at the bottom corner, and it's really the perfect size, whether you prefer to wear it crossbody with the detachable strap, or carry it from the top handle. The brass/warm brown suede is described as "velvety" soft, though you can also shop it in five different neutral leather finishes. While I don't often buy myself a bag for the holidays, Coach comes at a contemporary price point and the brand is really having a moment when it comes to personality-infused must haves. I may even tack on this Coach Small Pretzel Bag Charm ($95) as a nod to my love for New York.
