I'm a Shopping Editor, and These Are the Target Products I'm Buying For Fall
If we're examining my weekly shopping habits, the order of priority retailers can basically be grouped with Target at the top of my list, and then everything else. I find myself aimlessly browsing through the aisles at Target on a pretty regular basis, and even if I can't make it to the physical store, I still manage to find time in my schedule to scroll through the brand's dozens of new arrivals online. While my bank account might not be any better off for my Target addiction, I can attest that my wardrobe and home certainly are (you win some, you lose some!).
As such, my latest shopping spree at Target proved to be one of my favorites to date. Sure, I can rely on the retailer pretty much year-round to tempt me into purchasing dozens of products I had no idea I needed (or even wanted, for that matter!). But Target recently debuted hundreds of new products for fall that I not only fell in love with at first sight but, naturally, also proceeded to immediately add to my shopping cart. From fall candles and cozy throw blankets to nourishing skin-care products, seasonal essentials, home-decor accents, autumnal fashion pieces, and even a deep-green weekender bag that just oozes fall road-trip vibes, Target is bursting with so many quintessential products for the new season — and they range across all of the brand's major categories, too.
If you fancy indulging in a fall shopping haul from Target anytime soon, these are all of the products I added to my own cart and would recommend you add to your autumn-product wish list ASAP — before they inevitably sell out.
Heartfelt Decor: Embroidered "We Harvest Love Here" Square Throw Pillow
Fall decor is notoriously corny and often riddled with cliche seasonal puns and jokes. But what I love about this Embroidered "We Harvest Love Here" Square Throw Pillow ($15) is that the embroidered saying is actually simple and cute enough to have the throw pillow featured in your home year-round — even outside of the fall season.
Pearlcore Perfection: A New Day Loop Claw Hair Clip
This year has seen a lot of fashion fads come into the mainstream scene, though none have had a tighter hold on me than the pearlcore trend. The aesthetic is just so regal and helps to elevate any ensemble with the most sophisticated touch. Tap into the trend on your own terms with this A New Day Loop Claw Hair Clip ($5).
Stylish Booties: Universal Thread Arden Mid Shaft Boots
A good fall wardrobe simply isn't complete without a statement pair of seasonal boots incorporated into it. These textured Universal Thread Arden Mid Shaft Boots ($40) immediately caught my eye with their unique pattern and versatile, camel-colored hue. I'd love wearing the style with a chunky knit sweater and skinny white jeans to match.
An Autumnal Pumpkin: Threshold Medium Woven Pumpkin
There's simple pumpkin decor, and then there's rustic, unique, and downright charming pumpkin decor — as embodied in this crimson-colored Threshold Medium Woven Pumpkin ($10). Pumpkin accents are truly the easiest way to dress up your home with some stylish (yet still muted) fall splendor.
Take Flight: Universal Thread Duffel Weekender Bag
This green Universal Thread Duffel Weekender Bag ($45) just oozes an inimitable autumn charm — from the fresh, seasonal coloring to the soft, rounded design, it's total travel perfection. Now, I suddenly have the urge to pack my bag for a weekend road trip and set out on a fall adventure.
Golden Girl: Universal Thread Utility Chore Jacket
Come fall, I get an inexplicable desire to drench my closet in every fall-centric color known to woman! From forest-green shades to crimson hues and golden variations galore, the autumn color palette is such a beautiful one. And I'm obsessed with the way it's incorporated into this Universal Thread Utility Chore Jacket ($35).
A Cozy Candle: Home Scents Pumpkin Butter Jar Candle
Easily set the mood for the new season in your household with the help of this Home Scents Pumpkin Butter Jar Candle ($11). The affordable candle features subtle notes of pumpkin and is sure to fill any room in your home with the most comforting aroma!
For Holiday Cooking: Magnolia Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
Whether you're a notable baker or just someone looking to upgrade their home-cooking situation this holiday season, this adorable Magnolia Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven ($15) is sure to do the trick. I love how stylish and compact the model is — it practically fits in the palm of my hand!
Fall Skin Care: Sweet Chef Carrot Ginger Blemish Rescue Patch
While this Sweet Chef Carrot Ginger Blemish Rescue Patch ($16) might not be a new seasonal arrival at Target, it does feature some seriously autumn-centric ingredients. Plus, now's the perfect time to revamp your fall skin-care routine (if you haven't already) with some more nourishing and hydrating products ahead of the brisker temperatures that are soon to come.
Pretty and Plush: Dearfoams Teddy Scuff Slippers
As someone who works from home full time, trust me when I say: I know the value in owning a long-lasting, plush, and super-cute pair of slippers. These Dearfoams Teddy Scuff Slippers ($18) are one of my favorite styles because of how cozily they fit.
Regal Rustics: Magnolia Staggered Metal Taper Candelabra
I'm a sucker for gold candleholders and really anything that looks like it's straight out of an 18th-century home. So naturally, I immediately gravitated toward this vintage-inspired Magnolia Staggered Metal Taper Candelabra ($20) and wasted no time in adding the brass piece to my shopping cart.
Crossbody Cuteness: A New Day Plaid Quilted Top Handle Satchel Handbag
There's so much to love about this A New Day Plaid Quilted Top Handle Satchel Handbag ($35). From the camel-colored base to the houndstooth-like print that's wrapped around the body and the edgy, gold hardware on top, this is a bag I'm dying to wear on repeat this season.
Seasonal Sweets: Favorite Day Maple Truffle Butter Cookies
I'm a self-proclaimed snacker when I shop, and since this Target spree required some serious time (and eventual spending!), I enjoyed merrily munching on these Favorite Day Maple Truffle Butter Cookies ($4) while I browsed around. Yes, I went through an entire box in one Target visit, and no, I don't have a single regret about it.
Practical Storage: Brightroom Small Coiled Rope Bin
My home has so many random, misplaced items that are scattered around, so I'm always on the lookout for more storage bins to house my mess in at least a semi-organized way. And I'm particularly loving the squishy, moldable nature of this Brightroom Small Coiled Rope Bin ($8).
For the Pets: EEK! Boutique Halloween Matching Family Sleep Dog and Cat Pajama
In full transparency, I am the mother to a sweet black cat and got excited for this EEK! Boutique Halloween Matching Family Sleep Dog and Cat Pajama ($10) only because it features a twin cat in the cover picture. But if you're into Halloween (and your pets let you dress them up — can't relate!), this little PJ onesie feels like a worthwhile purchase.
Bold Bottoms: A New Day High-Rise Faux Leather Tapered Ankle Pants
Everything about these A New Day High-Rise Faux Leather Tapered Ankle Pants ($30) just scream fall. I'm obsessed with the dark-chocolate coloring on the pants, which makes them a great style to wear with some of my lighter sweaters. And the faux-leather material has such a lightweight yet soft feel.
A Snuggly Throw: Threshold Marled Boucle Throw Blanket
If you're anticipating a busy season of Netflix and chilling with your significant other, you'll need a snuggly blanket to get all wrapped up in. I'm especially loving the vibe of this Threshold Marled Boucle Throw Blanket ($64) because it's stylish, heavy, and extra large in length!
Midcentury-Modern Magic: Threshold Elroy Sherpa Round Ottoman
Everything Studio McGee touches is a winner in my book, and this Threshold Elroy Sherpa Round Ottoman ($95) is clearly no different. We're seeing sherpa materials everywhere in fashion at the moment, so why not incorporate some of the stylish trend into your home, too?
Nourishing Beauty: Naturium Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm
As temperatures begin to cool down and my skin (inevitably!) starts to dry out more, I'm always searching for nourishing products to treat my skin to through some of the year's harshest months. This Naturium Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm ($24) is a must have in any season.
A Wooden Accent: Threshold Vertical Sides Natural Frame
Looking at this Threshold Vertical Sides Natural Frame ($16), I'm suddenly very aware of the fact that I don't have a cabin of my own — but with distressed wood pieces as charming as this, I'm now also convinced that I desperately need one. If for no other reason than as a decorating outlet alone, of course.
Fresh Foliage: Threshold Mini Artificial Fall Leaves Garland
As someone who lives in Arizona and doesn't get to enjoy authentic fall foliage as much as my East Coast friends, I'm at least committed to making sure my home feels like an autumnal wonderland — and all with the help of this Threshold Mini Artificial Fall Leaves Garland ($10).
A Preppy Accessory: Kristin Ess The Knotted Headband
TikTok's Plazacore trend has deemed all things preppy as being in style this fall, which means you basically have a pass to dress just like Eloise or even Blair Waldorf, all season long. I'm not the least bit mad about it — in fact, I'm already a proud owner of this "Gossip Girl"-esque Kristin Ess The Knotted Headband ($14) to further support the fad.
Halloween-Ready: EEK! Boutique Reusable Halloween Trick or Treat Bag
Maybe it's just me, but this EEK! Boutique Reusable Halloween Trick or Treat Bag ($3) is so darling, I refuse to believe it's only intended for use during Halloween or for trick-or-treating purposes. If I'm being honest, I have every intention of using this bag year-round!
An Autumnal Polish: OPI Nature Strong Nail Polish
One of my favorite ways to signal the beginning of the fall season is with a new nail color that really oozes autumnal elegance. I was committed to red all through September, but for October and November, I'll be relying on this deliciously rich, dark-purple OPI Nature Strong Nail Polish ($12).
For Your Morning Brew: Opalhouse Stoneware Be The Change Mug
I love the time in between seasons because it always serves as an emotional reminder that change is actually good and something that should be embraced. For those who are similarly sappy, this butterfly-adorned Opalhouse Stoneware Be The Change Mug ($7) should give you all the feels, too.
A Cute Craft: Freestanding Halloween Wood Bat
Whether you have got creative kiddos in your home or are just a grown adult who loves any excuse to paint (hi!), this Freestanding Halloween Wood Bat ($5) will double as the most adorable afternoon craft to design and proudly display in your household this Halloween.
For a Seasonal Spread: Hearth and Hand With Magnolia Tick Stripe Cloth Napkin Set
If you're set to host Thanksgiving or any other family get-togethers this season, you're probably already planning the design of the tablescape in your head — and in need of some stylish, durable napkins to match with your place settings, too. I recommend this subtle and striped Hearth and Hand With Magnolia Tick Stripe Cloth Napkin Set ($10).
For the Fitness-Lover: Blogilates 12 Week Fit Journal
What's spookier than trying to get back on the fitness bandwagon after a curiously long break away? Whether you're a fitness geek or just someone trying to reinspire some new habits, this Blogilates 12 Week Fit Journal ($25) is great for helping users to create a meaningful and healthy relationship with their workout regimen.
