I can't miss the opportunity to share some of my favorite spots in Washington! For a caffeine fix, Espresso Vivace Sidewalk Bar is a fun and convenient café to stop by in Capitol Hill. If you're on the lookout for brunch, check out Oddfellows Café & Bar or Portage Bay Cafe (French toast highly recommended). End the day with Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery — need I say more? Another great sweet spot is Frankie & Jo's, which offers a fully plant-based menu of heavenly ice cream flavors. Beyond food, check out the Seattle Public Library for one-of-a-kind architecture or visit Discovery Park to escape the crowds for a bit. I also can't stress how interesting Pike Place Market is, especially if you spend time walking into all the unique small-owner operated stores. It's where I don't mind acting like a tourist in my own city!
