Every new iOS update always feels like it's getting a whole new phone. The latest update from Apple, iOS 10, is no exception: use new emoji, play with fun effects on iMessage, and finally delete all the useless apps you don't like. However, one feature is driving people insane: the new way to unlock your phone. Before iOS 10, all you needed to do was place your finger on the home button to activate Touch ID and ta-da, your phone would open. Or, if you didn't use Touch ID, you could swipe to unlock your phone. Now, you need to actually press on the home button to unlock the phone. Thankfully, you can change that setting easily by following the steps ahead. It doesn't officially bring the flashing words of "slide to unlock" but you do get the unlock feature found in iOS 9 and before. You're welcome!
