What Is the Facebook Save Button?
This 1 Underrated Feature on Facebook Is Going to Become Something You Constantly Use

Since you're spending so much time on Facebook, the company is going to make it easier to bookmark anything you see across the web to the app. Announced at F8, the company's annual developer conference, the "Save to Facebook" button is going to soon come to a webpage near you.
If you see something you like on a website, the company can opt to have the "Save to Facebook" button, where it'll then go to a dedicated tab in the app. You'll be able to save articles and products and receive reminders about what you've added to this tab. See an example below.

The saving feature isn't necessarily new. Facebook released the "save for later" option to the app about four years ago. If you ever saw anything within the app that you liked, you could just hit the "save for later" option and revisit in a dedicated tab. The button across the web is now just another way Facebook is hoping to become your one-stop destination for everything.
When it launches, it'll only be available on Product Hunt and Overstock, but definitely expect it to come to more sites soon. While you're waiting around to use it more, check out these other Facebook tips.
