Where: Scribner's Catskill Lodge in Hunter, NY
If you're more of a beginner (or even a self-proclaimed "bad at yoga" individual), this is the retreat for you. Spend a long weekend bending and stretching with Yoga For Bad People founders Heather Lilleston and Katelin Sisson, since there's literally zero judgment involved and you get to do it in the Catskills countryside at Scribner's Catskill Lodge.
Once a motor stop in the 1960s, Scribner's is now revamped and completely woodsy and romantic, aka where you want to meditate for two days (June 2-4) while also enjoying two yoga classes daily, two nights' accommodations, complimentary daily breakfast, two brunches (because yoga should mean mimosas afterward), two group dinners, and welcome drinks.
The whole shebang will cost you $660 a person, and guests do not need to have any prior experience to hang with YFBP. Did we mention each room has a furnished balcony, gluten-free and vegan dishes are provided at each meal, "fun time" is scheduled into the itinerary, and so is free time for hiking, journaling, exploring, and — our favorite — napping? Sounds like our kind of fitness retreat!
