Johnny Depp popped up on the set of Transcendence in LA yesterday. He sported a pair of Dita sunglasses and was joined by costar Rebecca Hall as well as a body double for the day of shooting. The sci-fi thriller also stars Morgan Freeman and Kate Mara and focuses on a pair of computer scientists fighting against an anti-technology organization. Johnny has been busy promoting his other film The Lone Ranger with Armie Hammer as well. The two teamed up to release a trailer for the movie during CinemaCon in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Between his big-screen projects, Johnny has been making time for fun — and a little flirting. He attended a secret Rolling Stones concert with his The Rum Diary costar Amber Heard over the weekend, and the two were spotted holding hands during the show before leaving together in a black SUV. Johnny and Amber's PDA marks the first time they've put their romantic connection in the spotlight, though they were rumored to have gotten close while working on 2011's The Rum Diary.

Johnny and Amber costarred in the 2011 film The Rum Diary but have kept any possible romance out of the spotlight until now. Amber was able to mingle with the Stones, thanks to Johnny's longtime friendship with Keith Richards. Johnny and Amber were among the 700 people who saw the Stones after the band announced the show on Twitter earlier in the afternoon.

Amber and Johnny were just two of many celebrity guests last night. Also out to see Keith, Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, and Ron Wood do their thing were Gwen Stefani, Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen, Owen Wilson, and Maria Shriver. Bruce Willis, who has a vacation home near Keith at Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos, also attended with his wife, Emma Heming. Stones wives and girlfriends Patti Hansen and L'Wren Scott and 65-year-old Ron's wife of four months, 35-year-old Sally Humphreys, were there, too. The Stones got in last night's show before kicking off their "50 & Counting" world tour this Friday at LA's Staples Center.

Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer launched a new trailer for their film, The Lone Ranger, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas yesterday. The two actors were joined by director Gore Verbinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer as they discussed the upcoming flick, which hits theaters on July 3, in front of a group of theater owners. Johnny has been ramping up his appearances as he prepares for the huge promotional push for his latest project. He stars in the upcoming film The Lone Ranger, alongside Armie Hammer, which is due out this Summer, and also popped up on stage at the Grammy's to present the album of the year award to Mumford & Sons earlier this month.

Johnny's most recent project combines his love for both film and music. He linked up with his Lone Ranger and Pirates of the Caribbean director, Gore Verbinski, to both produce and record a new album titled Son of Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs, and Chanteys, which was released last week. Johnny also lends his vocals to the record, which is the follow-up to his 2006 appearance on Rogue's Gallery.
