John Krasinski was joined by his wife, Emily Blunt, for the final screening of NBC's The Office last night in LA. The Office era came to a close after nine seasons with the airing of the series finale yesterday. John said goodbye to his beloved character of Jim, after sharing a special moment with onscreen love Pam in the episode. He took to his social media account to reveal his emotions over the end of the show, writing, "So this is it. There's truly nothing I can say to tell you all how much your love and support of this show has meant. Thank you. Thank you!"
Although it was obviously an emotional occasion for The Office crew, John revealed that no tears were shed on the final day on set explaining, "I don't think there were any tears. I'm saving mine for Barbara Walters! But the only thing that prevented us from having a meltdown is we're all so proud of the show." That's not to say there were dry eyes at all times since he did admit to tearing up during the retrospective that aired ahead of the final episode. The finale also held a heart-felt surprise with the return of a special member of the cast — were you satisfied with how things ended for The Office? Be sure to weigh in with our poll!
