Bruce Springsteen Covers Lorde's "Royals" — Fabulous or Fail?

There's no denying that breakout artist Lorde has her own distinct sound, and Bruce Springsteen really didn't even try to replicate it when he covered her smash hit "Royals," at a concert in Auckland, New Zealand, recently. It was a bold move, given that Lorde is a native New Zealander, but fans were clearly receptive of his acoustic version of the pop hit. Springsteen changed some of the words (most notably, he switched the lyrics to "you can call me King Bee" from "Queen Bee," as the original song goes) and a bit of the arrangements. It's an interesting take on the tune, and I'm curious to hear what you think. Watch the video below and let me know!
