Naked cakes are a great trend I've noticed; they feel a little bit more organic, with an unfinished touch. It's natural and people are more health conscious these days, so it's a good option if you are going the organic/healthy route.

If an elaborate fondant cake is more your style, a trend for 2015 I've been seeing is the incorporation of metallic gold or silver icings. Metallic overall is really chic in the wedding industry right now.

What's new here is a return to a classic show. I feel that it's such an elegant way of serving and welcoming guests to the reception hour. Implementing the tower and having a waiter pour the Champagne into coupe glasses is very elegant and sexy. You can do it right before the cake cutting as well. Try all of this with a sparkling Rosé to add color and vibrancy to such a classic showstopper. Pink Champagnes or even Proseccos are definitely in this year.

Chrome is a hot new trend. Chrome can be silver or gold, but gold has been an especially hot color for the last few seasons, and it's still going strong. Laser-cut invitations, menu cards, and place settings give depth and weight to your unforgettable moment.
