Gossip Girl Loses a Role Model and Might Get a Vampire
Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr were joined on the Gossip Girl set in Brooklyn by only one of the guys, Penn Badgley, yesterday. Taylor took a smoke break between scenes which is just another way she's not looking to be a role model. Meanwhile, Chace Crawford is headed to Park City tomorrow for the Sundance premiere of Twelve — Buzz and I got a chance to see the movie already, so stay tuned to hear about his leading man transformation.
Blake Stays True to Her TV Roots With the Gossip Gang
Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick joined most of the Gossip Girl gang yesterday in NYC to keep working on their current season. Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, and Jessica Szohr were filming last week as well, but now Blake's making news due to another of her projects — she's signed on to star opposite Ryan Reynolds in The Green Lantern, though you all seem split on whether you think she's ready for leading lady status. Blake has certainly hit her stride as Serena van der Woodsen on the small screen, and we'll see more from her and the other Upper East Siders in a few more weeks.
Leighton and Kellan Keep the Miami Party Scene Covered
Leighton Meester was both a guest and the entertainment last night during a bash at the new Klutch club in Miami. Kellan Lutz was the man of the evening, bringing him right back to the city where he welcomed 2009 in memorably shirtless style. Leighton hit the red carpet at the Just Jared-sponsored bash in a cutout LBD, but she changed before stepping on stage — take a look back at her best beauty looks of the year.
Leighton & Sebastian Don't Need Mistletoe For Holiday Kisses
Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan shared a sweet kiss after a lunch date in NYC yesterday. The couple was wearing matching black coats, a look that would be a little understated for upscale Blair Waldorf. While Gossip Girl is on hiatus from our televisions, Leighton has still been hard at work both filming the show and keeping up her music career.

Ed Heads Back to Work With His Country-Bound Gossip Girl
Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester were back on the set of Gossip Girl earlier this week while their costars Penn Badgley and Jessica Szohr cuddled up for the cameras across town. As Chuck and Blair chatted, Taylor Momsen took a break from filming and headed over to MTV for an appearance on It's On with Alexa Chung. After chatting with MTV about her upcoming music career Taylor headed back to the set all bundled up yesterday for a solo scene with one of her favorite gadgets in hand.

Leighton Keeps Things Buttoned Up For Gossip Girl
Leighton Meester joined Chace Crawford, Blake Lively and Ed Westwick yesterday on the NYC set of Gossip Girl. Unlike her edgier performance look at Tuesday's American Eagle party, Leighton kept things prim and proper as she got into character as Blair Waldorf. You guys aren't quite sure what to make of Leighton's tendencies to strip down when she goes into musical mode, but she's not the only Upper East Sider who likes to show a bit of skin.
Leighton, Ashlee and Jessica Show Their American Eagle Pride
A handful of starlets hit the red carpet last night to celebrate the grand opening of America Eagle's new flagship store in NYC. The Gossip Girl crowd was well-represented, with Leighton Meester cozying up to Michelle Trachtenberg and Jessica Szohr. Adrian Grenier, Pete Wentz, and Ashlee Simpson were also out to browse the offerings at the new space in Times Square.
