Emily Oldenquist was the assistant weekend editor for the Breaking News team at POPSUGAR. She received her Bachelor's degree in Media Studies and Writing from Pratt Institute, where she was the editor in chief of the student newspaper. Her writing — which centers around culture, entertainment, and wellness — has been featured in Baeble Music, YR Media, Verywell Health, and the materials for the Brooklyn Nets. In her free time, you can find her reading, taking pictures, crying about art, and directing her feature documentary, "You Can't Come Home," about two survivors of the troubled teen industry.
