The Secret to a Sculpted Face Has Been Hiding at Your Desk

It seems like a new contouring technique hits Instagram every day. We've seen artists chisel their cheekbones with intricate henna designs and even self-tanning lotion. That said, some of these methods require way too many tools and steps, especially when you're crunched for time — or if you're just downright lazy. But Instagram makeup maven Huda Kattan took to her page to reveal a simple hack for sculpting your face, and it only requires one item you have stashed at your desk: tape.

In a 15-second video, Huda applies adhesive tape to the high points of her cheekbones, along her jawline, on the bridge of her nose, and on her forehead to create a contour template. Then she applies concealer and bronzing powder within the lines created by the tape. If you're trying this at home, remember that after you remove the sticky stuff, your makeup will appear in defined creases, so blending is an absolute must!

After just a few swipes with your Beautyblender, you'll be left with Kardashian-status cheekbones. Not convinced yet? Grab some tape and watch along.
