Selena Gomez Fans Are Swooning Over Her Rainbow "Easter Egg" Nails

This year has already delivered some of our favorite seasonal nail trends, and Selena Gomez was way ahead of the game. In December, the Rare Beauty founder and "Only Murders in the Building" star embraced the adage that more is more when she paid a visit to celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik and fell in love with every shade in his kit.

"When Sel says she likes them all," Bachik captioned a photo of Gomez getting ready to attend Variety's 2022 Hitmakers Brunch at City Market Social House in Los Angeles. On April 5, Bachik reposted the photo of Gomez's colorful nails, inspiring fans to dub the look "Easter egg" nails. Gomez showed off her "Easter egg" nail art alongside a faux crocodile-print Aspinal of London handbag in black.

Rather than opt for one color or a classic accent nail, Gomez decided to embrace the rainbow, rocking a fuchsia pink on her thumbs and cool pastels on the rest of her fingers. Gomez's full "Easter egg" manicure color palette included the following colors from Mia Secret's Gelux gel polish collection: Maya Blue, Peppermint, Lavender, Peace & Love, and Bleu de France.

The colorful manicure closely resembles the "Skittles" nails trend worn by countless celebrities, including Harry Styles, Madelaine Petsch, and Ashley Benson. While Gomez took a more subdued approach to the multi-hued look, her cool color palette created the perfect contrast against her black velvet dress on the red carpet.

In February, she embraced the seasonal theme with a set of gold-and-purple floral nails, also applied by Bachik. The black background provided a sleek canvas, upon which Bachik layered yellow, white, and purple flower petals embellished with shimmery flecks of gold.
