Shania Twain Celebrates Her Album Release With a Brand-New Hair Color

Shania Twain has a different look for her next musical era. Ahead of the release of her album, "Queen of Me," the country-pop legend debuted a brand-new hair color. Previously a trademark brunette with loose curls, she looked almost unrecognizable with straight, platinum-blond hair at a Republic Records artist party on Feb. 1.

Twain paired the dramatic beauty transformation with an orange silk jumpsuit and coral-toned makeup to match. The "Giddy Up!" singer offered another glimpse at the fresh color during her appearance on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" filmed that day, where she spoke about her celebratory album that's all about "happiness, joy, and taking control of your own mood and your own spirit."

Recently, Twain has been experimenting with bold colors, initially revealing pastel-pink hair at the People's Choice Awards in December. At the ceremony, she accepted the music icon award with her pink hair — a combination of bleached-blond highlights and pink lowlights — tucked into a leopard hooded scarf. On Feb. 3, she also covered Rollacoaster magazine wearing a bright-orange wig with long bangs that covered her eyebrows.

While it's unclear whether Twain's latest look is courtesy of a wig or a permanent dye job, it's certainly bringing her much joy. See photos of her platinum-blond hairstyle ahead.
