Meghan Markle's Relationships With Other Royals

1 The Queen

The queen and Meghan reportedly have an excellent relationship. Even before the wedding, the two met several times, where the queen taught Meghan the ins and outs of royal life. The pair may have bonded over their mutual love of dogs, as Prince Harry has stated the queen's corgis took a liking to Meghan straight away, and the queen has also been spotted riding in the car with Meghan's dog Guy.

The royal duo seemed to enjoy each other's company on their first solo royal engagement together on a trip to Cheshire. The two spent the night riding the royal train together and were all smiles at their appearances.

2 Kate Middleton

Ever since Meghan and Harry got engaged, she and Kate have forged a "wonderful friendship." Meghan often stops by Kate and William's house, bringing homemade treats for the girls to share as Kate offers her advice about life inside "The Firm."

The two have grown so close, Meghan even gifted Kate a custom gold bracelet on her wedding day. Since the wedding, the two are constantly at each other's sides at royal events, and they even had a girls' day out during this year's Wimbledon tournament.

3 Prince William

While many focus on Meghan's friendship with Kate, few notice her budding relationship with Prince William. The two are often seen smiling and chatting at royal events and have even been seen greeting each other with a warm embrace and kiss on the cheek.

4 Prince Charles

Meghan has been credited with helping Harry form a better relationship with his father, Prince Charles. She and the future king have a mutual respect for each other, and Prince Charles has reportedly given Meghan the nickname "Tungsten," because like the metal, she is "strong and unbending." They have grown so fond of each other, Prince Charles even stepped in and walked Meghan down the aisle when her own father couldn't attend the wedding.

5 Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall

Much like Kate, Camilla is said to have taken Meghan under her wing and has helped her adjust to her new life as a royal. Besides being there to offer advice and guidance, Camilla has also spoken about Meghan's wedding to Harry, saying the day was "uplifting." Since then, the pair have grown so close, they were even spotted holding hands at a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

6 Sophie, Countess of Wessex

Meghan and Sophie have similar backgrounds as both are "commoners" who married into the royal family and they also both worked in media prior to their marriages. The two seem to be getting along quite nicely, as they rode in a carriage together to this year's Royal Ascot and have been seeing chatting at other royal events.
