1 When Did Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Get Engaged?

The couple announced their engagement after five years of dating in October 2020. Alongside an Instagram photo of Gwen showing off her stunning engagement ring, she wrote, "@blakeshelton yes please!" Blake shared the same photo on his Instagram account, writing, "Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020 . . . And the rest of my life . . . I love you. I heard a YES!"

In January, Gwen opened up about Blake's proposal to Jimmy Fallon, saying, "It was actually pretty magical." Gwen admitted that she was completely taken by surprise when Blake popped the question at their ranch in Oklahoma, adding, "We ended up making it all happen, and we were all here at the ranch."

According to Us Weekly, Blake had the ring "custom designed" for Gwen. It features a six-carat solitaire diamond, and it's estimated to cost somewhere above $500,000, depending on the quality of the stone.

3 Gwen Stefani's Bridal Shower

In June, Gwen celebrated her nuptials with an intimate bridal shower with her family and friends, including Patti Flynn and sister Jill Stefani. Gwen received some sweet gifts and flowers, including a piece of jewelry to use as her "something borrowed and blue" for her wedding.

The singer wore two custom dresses by Vera Wang for her nuptials. For the wedding ceremony, she wore a long gown with a white chapel-length veil that was embroidered with the names Blake and Gwen, plus the names of Gwen's three children — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. For the reception, she slipped into a Vera Wang Haute minidress and Le Silla stiletto cowboy boots.

Fittingly, The Voice host Carson Daly officiated Blake and Gwen's wedding. Carson shared his well-wishes for the couple on Instagram, alongside a photo of him at the altar with Blake, writing, "Here comes the bride…so honored to get to marry two of my favorite people on earth. May God bless you guys in this new chapter of your lives. We love you!"

In addition to Carson Daly, Gwen's sons were part of her special day. Though Adam Levine previously talked about Blake and Gwen's wedding in interviews, it appears he didn't actually attend as he was spotted out in in Miami over the weekend.

During his May 19 appearance on The Tonight Show, Blake discussed his wedding before sharing what song he and Gwen had chosen for their first dance. We're both fans of the '80s, why not?"
