Meryl gave yet another memorable speech when she accepted the best actress award for her role as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady. After receiving a standing ovation from the crowd, she said, "When they called my name, I had this feeling I could hear half of America going, 'Oh no, oh come on! Why her again?!' . . . But whatever."
