2009: Miley and Liam met while filming The Last Song.
2010: After going public with their romance in January, the pair broke up for the first time in August. A month later, their relationship was back on, though in November, the two broke up yet again.
2011: Miley and Liam got back together in April.
2012: In June, the pair got engaged.
2013: Their engagement was called off in September, and the next day, Liam was spotted making out with actress Eiza Gonzalez.
2016: Rumors of a reconciliation swirled as Miley began wearing a ring that looked an awful lot like the engagement ring Liam gave her, and in January, the two were officially engaged again. Miley and Liam are currently planning their wedding.
