Princess Diana and Prince Charles

After only going on 12 dates, Charles popped the question to Diana in February 1981. They wed five months later in a lavish ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, and their wedding was watched by an estimated global TV audience of 750 million. They officially split in August 1992 after Queen Elizabeth II ordered them to divorce, but they welcomed two children, Prince William and Prince Harry, during their time together.
