Emme's twin brother, Max, who has the same birthday, also got a special message from Lopez on his 10th birthday that gave us insight into the kind of kid he is. "Max, you are my heart, my love, and my light . . . you brighten up every day for me with your kindness and caring, your love and awareness. Your energy is unmatched, your sense of humor makes everyone around you laugh, and I marvel at your depth of understanding of people and the world. My old soul, my beautiful boy."
While staying at home with his family in early 2020, Max showed off his playful and silly personality in a video Lopez shared via Instagram. Then made us collectively "awww" at the photos and videos taken of him with his dog, Tyson.
Max and Emme turned 13 in 2021, and Lopez celebrated them, once again, with breakfast in bed and some pretty amazing gifts. Her message to them on Instagram, however, may have been the most special part of all. "My beautiful babies are teenagers today!!" she captioned their birthday video. "OMG!! I can't believe it's been 13 years since I carried them both home in my arms in the middle of a snowstorm. Out of that blizzard came two perfect lil' coconuts who rearranged my life and taught me the true meaning of love."
