The rapper, 49, welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with wife Jesseca "Judy" Harris-Dupart in Atlanta on July 6, People reported the following day. Da Brat, (née Shawntae Harris), announced her pregnancy in February a year after she and Harris-Dupart got married.
Of their baby's name, the pair told People, "His name had been True Legend Harris-Dupart but now that we've met him we are tempted to name him Perfect." Per People, though, the pair have stuck with True. Da Brat also raved about her son's arrival and added, "I can't believe he came out of me! Feels like a dream. He's perfect in every way. Very appreciative for such a blessing of our bundle of joy. This journey has been more amazing than we could've ever imagined."
