14 Things That Will Happen on the Second Half of Once Upon a Time

The show may have gone to mystical realms in the past, but the creators stated that the Underworld is going to be quite different. Kitsis added that fans are "going to be surprised at how similar it is to season one in its own weird kind of way."

Kitsis settled to rumor by explaining that all the characters have a chance to find closure saying, "Everyone has an opportunity to be a Savior at some point in their own history."

In the episode "Labor of Love" Cruella de Vil revealed that Henry has the opportunity to be the author again since his pen is actually in the Underworld. Kitsis even confirmed that he will be using his writing skills again this season.

While Rumple may have achieved hero status this season, he quickly blew it all to flames in the show's Winter finale. Now that he is the Dark One again, people were worried that he was just repeating his same mistakes, but Kitsis assured fans that is not the case. "I think that if fans are like, 'Oh, are they going to do the same thing again?' — absolutely not," he said. "He's learned a lot."

While the first half of this season focused on Arthurian legend, this time it's all about Greek gods. Not only is Greg Germann portraying Hades, but Meg and Hercules also made a special appearance in the episode "Labor of Love."

While Regina banished Zelena to the Emerald City at the end of the season, that certainly won't be the last time we see her. Jamie Chung revealed to POPSUGAR that Ruby and Mulan will be heading to Oz in the episode titled "Ruby Slippers." Chicago Fire alum Teri Reeves has also been cast as an adult Dorothy.

This season, we will get a better look at how exactly Emma came to be the feisty Savior we all know and love when the show flashes back to before she was a bail bondsperson.

While the quest to find Killian is everyone's main focus, there is a new Captain joining the crew. ET revealed that Costas Mandylor will be playing Captain Silver, a character rumored to be Captain Long John Silver from the 1883 novel, Treasure Island.

In an upcoming episode, we will flashback to a time before she knew Rumplestiltskin. Not only will the episode be Belle-centric, but it will also feature one of Disney's most memorable villains, Gaston!

Fans secretly hope that the new couple will be Mulan and Ruby, and Horowitz and Kitsis have already emphasized that the LGBT relationship will be handled no differently than any of the other love stories on the show.

Not only will we see the Wicked Witch when she heads back to Oz, but we will also get flashbacks of her tween self as well. Ava Acres and Isabella Blake-Thomas have already been cast as a young Regina and Zelena for the episode, “Sisters.”

Here comes the worst news of all — both Kitsis and Horowitz have stated that there will be a "death arc" this season. No word yet on when and where it will happen, but if we know anything about the writers, it will surely be heartbreaking.
