Here Are All of the Forthcoming Movies Where You Can Catch Euphoria Cast Members Next

Not to state the obvious, but the cast of Euphoria is insanely talented. Filled with both established and first-time actors, the young cast left us gasping, sobbing, and on the edge of our seats all through the first season of the HBO series, and we can barely wait until the second season of the scandalous show premieres. In the meantime, we'll just have to keep a lookout for these Euphoria actors in other projects — and luckily, there's a lot of them. Though not all of the cast members have new film and TV projects forthcoming, here's everything we do know about when you can expect to see your favorite actors on screen next.

Zendaya

Zendaya, who stars as recovering drug addict Rue, has plenty of projects to keep her busy until Euphoria returns for a second season. Next year, she'll appear in Dune, an epic sci-fi flick based on the first half of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel of the same name. The movie takes place in the far future, revolving around a drug that is said to extend human life and provide higher thinking. Zendaya is set to play Chani, the love interest of Paul, who will be played by Timothée Chalamet, and the movie is set to be released on Dec. 18, 2020.

Zendaya will also star in a crime thriller called Finest Kind, which tells the story of two brothers (played by Jake Gyllenhaal and Ansel Elgort) who find themselves drawn them into the seedy crime underworld of Boston. No premiere date has been set yet for this one, and it's not yet clear what role Zendaya will play.

Finally, Zendaya has signed on to play Anita Hemmings in a biopic called A White Lie, telling Hemmings's story of lying about her race in the late 1800s in order to become the first African American woman to graduate from Vassar College. Unfortunately, it also has not been announced when we can expect to see this one on the big screen.

Hunter Schafer

Hunter Schafer, who costars as ethereal new girl Jules, doesn't have any new film or TV projects on the horizon. Yet, we feel certain that her first acting role won't be her last (and that we'll see the model working plenty of runways in the meantime).

Jacob Elordi

It's easy to hate Euphoria's antagonist, Nate, but it's impossible not to like actor Jacob Elordi. Coming up, you can expect to see Elordi reprise his role as bad boy Noah in The Kissing Booth 2, which will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2020.

Elordi is also set to star in 2 Hearts alongside Riverdale's Tiera Skovbye, a drama flick based on the book All My Tomorrows: A Story of Tragedy, Transplant, and Hope by Eric Gregory. The movie will tell the story of college student Chris Graham (played by Elordi), who dies without warning and whose organs are donated and save the lives of five different people. No release date has been announced yet for this one.

Finally, Elordi will also star in a horror flick called The Mortuary Collection, which tells the story of a young girl who stumbles across a mortuary and unleashes unexpected terrors. The movie is rumored to come out later this year, but no exact premiere date has been announced yet.

Algee Smith

Algee Smith, who plays (mostly) good guy McKay, doesn't have any new film or TV projects lined up right now, but we expect he'll be working on his music while we wait for the second season of Euphoria to start filming.

Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney, who plays lovestruck Cassie, doesn't currently have any new projects, but considering her impressive list of acting credentials, we imagine it's only a matter of time before we see her on screen again.

Maude Apatow

Maude Apatow, who plays Cassie's innocent younger sister Lexi, is set to appear in a yet-untitled project, which is being produced by Pete Davidson and her father, Jude Apatow. Though little is known about the film, we do know that it will tell the real-life story of Davidson and his late father, a firefighter who died on 9/11. Other cast members include Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Pamela Adlon, and Davidson himself, and the film is set to debut in Summer 2020.

Barbie Ferreira

Though Barbie Ferreira, who plays sexually adventurous Kat, doesn't have any forthcoming acting projects that have been made public, we imagine that she'll continue working on her modeling career until she reprises her role in Euphoria's second season.

Alexa Demie

Alexa Demie

You can expect to see Alexa Demie, who plays confident and cool Maddy, on the big screen very soon when she stars in the drama flick Waves, which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2019. The movie will follow the tumultuous love stories of two young couples, and though not much is known yet about Demie's role, we do that other cast members include Lucas Hedges and Sterling K. Brown.

Demie is also set to appear in a drama film called Mainstream, which revolves around a love triangle set in the digital age. Other cast members in the movie include Andrew Garfield, Maya Hawke, Nat Wolff, and Jason Schwartzman, among many others, though nothing has been announced yet about a premiere date or what role Demie will play.

Angus Cloud

Though Angus Cloud, who plays lovable drug dealer Fezco, isn't set to appear in any forthcoming projects at the moment, we feel pretty confident that it's only a matter of time until he scores his second acting role.

Storm Reid

Storm Reid

Storm Reid, who plays Rue's impressionable little sister Gia, has already had an impressive career for such a young actress, but she's just getting started. Reid recently signed on costar opposite Elisabeth Moss in the forthcoming movie The Invisible Man, which is a reboot of the classic 1933 monster film. The movie will tell the story of Cecilia (played by Moss) who receives the news of her abusive ex-boyfriend's suicide — but fears that he is not actually dead — and the motherless young girl named Sydney who looks up to her (played by Reid). The movie is supposed to debut sometime in 2020, but no official date has been announced.

Reid also recently signed on to play Idris Elba's daughter in the forthcoming sequel to The Suicide Squad. Little is known about the plot and the film won't start filming until September 2019, so it will be awhile until we know more about her role in this one.

Austin Abrams

Austin Abrams

As well as appearing in the recently released Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, you can expect to see Austin Abrams — who plays Kat's love interest Ethan — star opposite Riverdale's Lili Reinhart in the romantic drama Chemical Hearts, which is based on the YA novel Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland. The movie will follow the love story between the new girl in school and the school's newspaper editor, and it's being produced as an Amazon Original produced for Amazon Prime Video.

Another upcoming project for Abrams includes Youngest, which is the directorial debut for actor Nat Wolff. The short film revolves around a young woman named Autumn who recently lost her father, and though not much is known yet about Abrams's role, we do know that the cast also includes James Gandolfini's son, Michael Gandolfini. Unfortunately, it hasn't yet been announced when these two films might debut.
