23 Reasons You Need to Rewatch Double, Double, Toil and Trouble This Halloween

Would it be a '90s movie involving twins without the Olsen sisters? We don't think so!

They have a lot of great one-liners like, "Do you drink a lot of coffee? You might want to switch to decaf," when speaking to the gravedigger. Or saying, "That'll be the day (with an eye roll)" when her aunt claims to be good.

Kelly and Lynn have twins in their family in the form of Aunt Agatha and Aunt Sofia, who have major sibling rivalry thanks to magic and one of them being evil.

Aunt Agatha found the coveted moonstone decades prior and she is so evil, she imprisoned her own twin in a mirror. Now, she wants to trap her sister forever . . . unless the Farmer twins can stop her.

The girls actually bob for apples and take part in a pumpkin carving contest. What could be more Fall-appropriate than that?

From magically making Oscar the Clown (Phil Fondacaro) turn around, to saying magic words and having their wand fly away, the girls are full of magical powers.

Take Mr. N (Meshach Taylor) for instance. He first shows up as a homeless window cleaner, but becomes an ally to the girls when they go back to Aunt Agatha's house (and he becomes a crow).

This is the gravedigger (Wayne Robson) who well, digs graves and tells the tales of the evil witch who hid her moonstone a long time ago . . . which hooks us all into this film instantly.

Seriously, not only does Cloris Leachman play the mean Aunt Agatha, but she also plays Aunt Sofia, which shows her range.

When the Farmer girls attend the witches gathering, there are a lot of spooky creatures in attendance . . . some even sing!

The Olsen twins also play the young Agatha and the young Sofia, who look for the magical moonstone 50 years prior in a black-and-white throwback that isn't to be missed.

Whether they are wearing Halloween-approved colors (purple and orange), or rocking flannels and plaid, the twins' style is amazing and we want their wardrobe, STAT.

As Kelly and Lynn's dad, Eric McCormack is a character we often forget, but he is spot-on in his assessment of how terrible Aunt Agatha really is.

During one part of the movie the girls switch costumes with two other kids in order to leave and continue their mission to save Aunt Sofia, but when they are in costume they rock some decked out looks, one of which appears to be a fortune teller.

Come on, a seven-year-old girl telling a cranky old lady to "get a life" is beyond brilliant.

"Walla walla bing bang" how would that ever be a spell? What about, "air in space, up from the ground, make the tire nice and round?" Yes, that is a spell that Aunt Agatha uses.

The cuteness factor is almost too much to handle.

"Shake your bottom if you got 'em," man does this make us feel like we're back on the playground!

Whether it's riding along in a pumpkin truck or dressing up as witches and eating candy, this movie has all of the Halloween vibes we want in a movie.

Throughout the movie, you really do get scared and freak out that there won't be a happily ever after, but isn't that what Halloween movies should do?

When their parents tell them that they might lose their house, the girls have a real heart-to-heart with them saying that communication is key. Why is it key? "Everybody says so: Phil Donahue, Oprah," and more.

Aunt Sofia's favorite cookie is cinnamon, not chocolate chip. Nice try, Aunt Agatha! Okay, that's not how they save the day, but it is how they outsmart Agatha at one point.

Just like every great Halloween flick, Double, Double, Toil and Trouble gives magical feels that we can't help but love. Plus, magic wins the day!
