All it took was one episode of Little Fires Everywhere for fans to be obsessing over Joshua Jackson and his portrayal of Bill Richardson. On Wednesday, the actor — who is also counting down the days until his and Jodie Turner-Smith's daughter is born — hopped on a Skype interview with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest to discuss the infamous underwear scene in the first episode of the Hulu miniseries. "I didn't realize quite what a hit those were going to be," Jackson said. "Who knew that all these years what was missing from my career was parading around in my tighty whities?!"

When asked if he had any issue with the revealing scene alongside his onscreen wife Reese Witherspoon, or the grand reaction it had online, Jackson was unbelievably chill. He shrugged it off and admitted he didn't hate it. "I'm in my 40s now, I enjoy being objectified." He didn't even realize how, erm, visual the scene was until the episode released. "I watched it and I was like, 'Oh! Yeah, that's a lot.' Not a lot left to the imagination there!"
