Congrats are in order for Kodi Lee, the winner of America's Got Talent season 14! Shortly after his moving rendition of "You Are the Reason" with Leona Lewis, the 23-year-old singer from Southern California, who is blind and has autism, beat out several gifted acts for the top prize during Wednesday night's finale. He'll take home $1 million and a headlining spot at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Since his initial audition, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Julianne Hough, and Gabrielle Union knew Lee was special. He earned Union's first-ever golden buzzer with a stunning cover of Donny Hathaway's "A Song For You" and continued to amaze in the following weeks. On Tuesday, Cowell called Lee's "Lost Without You" cover "one of the most beautiful things" he's ever heard. That might seem like enough to seal his fate as the season's winner, but it was actually the voters at home who chose Lee for the number one spot. Watch the full video above to see how his win went down. Well-deserved, Kodi!
