Daenerys and Jorah have a complicated, unfortunate relationship thanks to that time she found out he wasn't being her trusted adviser out of the kindness of his heart, but actually because he'd been tasked with spying on her. Of course, Jorah does love Dany (in a creepy and obsessive kind of way), and by the end of season six he's back in the Khaleesi's good graces. His devotion to her is only rivaled by her relationship with Daario, and the scene of Dany tearfully telling him he better find a cure for his greyscale is a kick to the gut. He doesn't get the girl, and his heart is likely in shambles, but when you have a rare skin condition that turns you to stone, you don't have too many options.
