Combine '90s favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Hulu's sci-fi dramedy Misfits, and you've got Netflix's new comedy-horror series Crazyhead. The six-part British series follows the exploits of two girls: Amy and Raquel. Amy (Cara Theobold) is a lowly bowling alley employee who discovers that she is a seer, someone who can identify demons hiding in plain sight. Raquel (Susan Wokoma) is also a seer, but is also an experienced self-taught demon hunter, unlike Amy, who is hesitant to use her abilities. When they stumble upon the deep-seated underbelly of Hell, the two girls come together and do whatever it takes to fight off demons and other supernatural creatures (some of which have possessed their close friends and family) to protect the world as they know it.
