It's hard not to empathize with Minnick's predicament in the season finale. After all, she has her mind on confused, misplaced patients, a rapist potentially on the loose, a missing girl, and, well, a huge explosion. But Grey Sloan staff are loyal to their kind, and forgetting Stephanie is a huge mistake. Bailey fires Minnick after she tries to make excuses for her oversight. Even Catherine Avery can't defend Grey Sloan Memorial's Public Enemy No. 1.
Who didn't feel at least slightly satisfied when Stephanie tells smarmy rule enforcer Minnick to get out of her damn face while she was trying to save a little girl after surviving a horrifying encounter with a scalpel-wielding rapist and running through fire?
Minnick has been getting on most of the hospital's nerves after restructuring the teaching program and dethroning Richard Webber as a resident adviser. Except for Arizona, of course. As much as we want to respect that Minnick marches to the beat of her own drum, we can't help but dislike everything she's tried to do to the hospital. Bye, Felicia.
