If you're a Marvel fan who wishes the Avengers films were actually rom-coms all about Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch) and The Vision, then you're in luck: an upcoming series dubbed WandaVision will focus on the adventures of both characters, with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles. And Jac Schaeffer, one of the writers behind Captain Marvel, has been tapped to run point on the series, writing the pilot, and executive producing.
The series will take place after Avengers: Endgame and tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in which Olsen will also star. Teyonah Parris will also make an appearance on the show as an adult Monica Rambeau, who we saw as a child in Captain Marvel, which was set in the 1990s. WandaVision is slated for a Spring 2021 release.
