The Masked Singer season four went out with a bang on Dec. 16. During the season finale, we finally got to learn which celebrities were behind the Crocodile, the Mushroom, and the Sun masks. This season certainly had some of the wackiest costumes, but it was the talented singers that really blew us away. Seriously, the competition was fierce. Of course, the best part of the show is trying to guess which celebrities and popular figures are behind the masks. While the judges always have some smart guesses, we also had a few theories of our own. Keep reading for a breakdown of our best guesses, as well as the official guide for who was behind each mask.

Who Is the Dragon on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: In the clue video, the Dragon makes reference to wearing funky costumes. They also note that their fire was dangerous early in their career, but they learned to calm down later in life. At the end, there are a few glimpses of medals, trophies, and the Statue of Liberty.
Who it could've been: Given all the medals, the most obvious guess is that the Dragon is an Olympian. While Ken Jeong threw out Michael Phelps's name, others guessed DMX because of the "X" and dog bone featured in the video, as well as Busta Rhymes for the "dangerous" reference, which is the name of one of his songs.
Who it is: During the premiere, it was revealed that the Dragon is rapper Busta Rhymes!

Who Is the Gremlin on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: In the clue video, they note that they have a checkered past and they're a "true romantic" that adores animals. There are also a few references to cooking and one shot shows them chopping carrots.
Who it could've been: Given the voice, Robin Thicke guessed that Jerry Lee Lewis could be behind the mask. With all the references to fighting however, other judges guessed Sylvester Stallone, Mickey Rourke, and Steve Austin.
Who it is: In the second episode, it was revealed that the Gremlin is actor and boxer Mickey Rourke.

Who Is the Giraffe on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: In the clue video, there were a lot of references to carnivals and their roller-coaster career. The Giraffe also noted that they eventually became the "butt of everyone's joke," which could be a reference to a comedian.
Who it could've been: Honestly, we're pretty stumped about this one. While the judges guessed Travis Barker and Vanilla Ice, we have a feeling we're dealing with an athlete. After all, the Giraffe is the tallest costume the show has ever had. The character's outfit also has some major Hamilton vibes, leading fans to believe it could be Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, or Lin-Manuel Miranda. Another popular fan theory is Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Brian Austin Green.
Who it is: In the third episode, it was revealed that the Giraffe is Brian Austin Green.

Who Is Baby Alien on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: In the clue video, Baby Alien notes they've been "stuck in second gear" for a while, which immediately made the judges think of the Friends theme song. There were also a few nods to Ferris Bueller's Day Off with a teacher calling out Baby Alien's name and the street parade. Theyepisode also hinted that they're a theater actor, adding that they've made appearances on the Tony award stage.

Who it could've been: There are so many possibilities for who this could be. For starters, all the Ferris Bueller's Day Off clues seem to point to Matthew Broderick, who has also won two Tony awards. Another guess from the judges was Friends actor David Schwimmer, since he actually has his own theater company. Another good guess was Freddie Prinze Jr., who was a guest star on Friends back in the day. As Ken Jeong noted, there was also a vampire stake in the clue video, which could be a reference to his wife, Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Sarah Michelle Gellar. Since the costume is also a puppet, some popular theories are ventriloquists Jeff Dunham and Terry Fator.
Who it is: During episode four, it was revealed that Baby Alien is football player Mark Sanchez.

Who Is Lips on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: The clue video definitely had a disco vibe, with roller skates and a disco ball. They also noted that they've been known to speak their truth and they have a big mouth. Perhaps it's a talk show host? There was also a shot of them laying by a snack bar called West Wing.
Who it could've been: While some judges guessed West Wing stars like Allison Janney, Jenny McCarthy made the brilliant guess that it's Wendy Williams. Not only do the clues match up — she's known as a "shock jockette" — but the voice sounds just like her.
Who it is: During episode five, it was revealed that the Lips is Wendy Williams.

Who Is the Squiggly Monster on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: The Squiggly Monster's identity is a little tricky, given all the random clues. In the video, we get shots of everything from cookies and salami to a stethoscope. There is also a major gaming theme happening in the video.
Who it could've been: The judges guessed sitcom actors like Ray Romano and Brad Garrett, but I think there's more to those gaming clues. Spy Kids 3 was very centered on video games, and the Squiggly Monster looks a lot like the Floop's Fooglies. Maybe it's an actor from one of the films like Daryl Sabara or Alan Cumming.
Who it is: During episode six, it was revealed that the Squiggly Monster is comedian Bob Saget.

Who Are the Snow Owls on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: The Snow Owls were a tough one to crack. Based on their clue video, and the small "oh brother" reference, viewers thought that the two could be brothers and sisters or have played brothers and sisters before. There was also an interesting clue about decorating a house for Christmas.
Who it could've been: Popular guesses were Derek and Julianne Hough, Kirk Cameron and Candace Cameron Bure, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Maia and Alex Shibutani, and Chip and Joanna Gaines.
Who it is: Spouses Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black were revealed as the Snow Owls in the historic seventh episode.

Who Is Whatchamacallit on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: The person behind Whatchamacallit is definitely tall. In their clue package, they talked about being a shy guy and how they often let others absorb their spotlight. In the clue video, there were also shots of rainbows, a black panther, keys, and a clock that featured shrimp, the Bear from The Masked Singer season three, a record player, and khaki pants.
Who it could've been: While some believed it was Wiz Khalifa, others thought Neil Patrick Harris or Penn Jillette was behind Whatchamacallit.
Who it is: Turns out, this character is a big baller — literally. During the eighth episode, which had a double elimination, Whatchamacallit was unmasked, revealing NBA star Lonzo Ball.

Who Is the Serpent on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: Let's just start by saying the Serpent has some pipes! Their clue video didn't offer too many hints about their identity, but there were references to how they used to be a big troublemaker, before their pops saved them from a path of destruction. There was also a shot of a larger serpent with a hat that read "Serpent Sr."
Who it could've been: Some fan theories put Leslie Odom Jr., Christopher Jackson, John Legend, and Jamie Foxx behind the Serpent mask.
Who it is: In episode eight's double elimination, the Serpent uncloaked itself as viral sensation "Dr. Elvis" Francois, the orthopedic surgeon who became famous for making inspirational singing videos amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who Is Broccoli on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: The Broccoli certainly threw us for a loop. In the clue video, there were nods to dance challenges as well as a reference to "being a kid rolling with the OGs," which led the judges to believe it was a TikTok star. However, their performances had us second-guessing everything.
Who it could've been: Many guessed that the Broccoli was Bill Murray or Martin Sheen, but the prevailing fan theory proved to be spot-on.
Who it is: Paul Anka was revealed as the Broccoli in episode nine.

Who Is the Popcorn on The Masked Singer Season 4?

Who it could be: While the Little(ish) clue certainly makes us think of Caila Marsai Martin, who stars on Black-ish and also starred in Little, the Billie Eilish lyric has us wondering if it might actually be the Grammy-winning singer. Not only is the Jellyfish dressed like the singer, but Eilish first rose to fame with her song "Ocean Eyes." Perhaps that's the reason she dressed up as a jellyfish?
Who it is: Chloe Kim was revealed as the Jellyfish on the semifinals.

Who Is the Seahorse on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: In the clue video, there were a lot of Western references, including a cowboy hat, lassos, a rainbow frog, and a cactus. There was also a hog with warts, which could possibly be a reference to Hogwarts. Maybe it's a Harry Potter fan? Another clue video showed a smile with a no sign symbol through it and refers to a big failure in their career.

Who it could be: While the voice certainly sounds familiar, the clues are a little tricky. All the Western clues are giving us major Westworld vibes, but none of the stars are particularly known for singing. Nicole Scherzinger had a good guess that it could be Hailee Steinfeld, whose breakout role was in True Grit. Not only is she a singer, but Scherzinger noted that the show has an Oscar-nominated star this season. Another popular theory is Tori Kelly, who has previously covered "Only Girl (in the World)" and "My Heart Will Go On." She also sang "Rainbow Connection" with Kermit the Frog, which could be the reason behind that rainbow frog clue.
Who it is: Tori Kelly was revealed as the Seahorse in the semifinals.

Who Is the Crocodile on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: The beginning of the clue video shows the Crocodile diving, before adding that they are "happiest in the water." Maybe it's a swimmer. They also note that they grew up in Hollywood, and there is a shot of the flag of Italy. In another clue video, there is a shot of an orange tree, and their childhood clue was a dolphin. Maybe it's someone from Florida?

Who it could be: So far, the judges have guessed everyone from Nick Lachey to Donnie Wahlberg to Adam Lambert. A popular fan theory is Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter because of all the Florida clues.
Who it is: The Crocodile was revealed to be Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter during the finale.

Who Is the Mushroom on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: There are numerous Hamilton clues throughout the video, making us believe that the person behind the Mushroom mask starred in the hit musical. There were also shots of orange curtains, gardening tools, a hot dog cart, and a violin.
Who it could be: Obviously, most of the judges guessed Hamilton stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Ramos, but it might actually be someone who wasn't in the original cast. Maybe someone like Taran Killam, who played King George III? The orange curtains could be a nod to his Nickelodeon roots.
Who it is: The Mushroom was revealed as Aloe Blacc during the finale.

Who Is the Sun on The Masked Singer Season 4?

The clues: In the clue video, there was a shot of a gold member card as well as a leopard. They also talked about going through "extreme seasons" in their life and how they were once the center of the universe before they got burned out. At one point, the Earth and trees came together to make a Mickey Mouse logo. Maybe it's a former Disney star?
Who it could be: While some popular guesses from the judges were Demi Lovato and Katharine McPhee, we think it could be former Cheetah Girls star Kiely Williams based on the voice. Maybe that leopard in the clue video is actually a cheetah? Some other popular theories seem to be Christina Aguilera and LeAnn Rimes.
Who it is: LeAnn Rimes was revealed as the Sun and the winner of season four during the finale.
