The second clue video also included a shot of a smile with a no symbol sign, which could be a nod to her debut studio album, Unbreakable Smile.

Judge Nicole Scherzinger threw out the possibility that Steinfeld may be the Seahorse, given the fact that there is an Oscar-nominated star featured this season. Steinfeld scored an Oscar nod for best supporting actress for her role in True Grit in 2011. However, it was later revealed in the show that Mickey Rourke was the Gremlin and he was nominated for an Oscar for The Wrestler in 2009, making him the Oscar-nominated contestant.
