3 Men From Bachelor Nation Who (Momentarily) Captured Clare Crawley's Heart

Our new Bachelorette Clare Crawley is definitely no stranger to dating on reality TV! A veteran of four separate Bachelor Nation shows, she's now looking for love again on the current season of The Bachelorette. She's been off the air for a couple of years, though, so you might not remember who Clare has dated in the past. Never fear — we've got a complete recap of her onscreen romances for you to refresh your memory! Clare has run the gamut from a couple of brief Bachelor in Paradise relationships to a near engagement and an actual engagement. Here are the men who have been in her life and what you should know about how the relationships ended.

Juan Pablo Galavis

Clare made her Bachelor debut in 2014, where she was one of the favorites to win the heart of Juan Pablo Galavis. She was one of the final two, but when Juan Pablo rejected her in the finale, she gave him a major dressing-down in a speech that pretty much went down in Bachelor history. "I thought I knew what kind of man you are. I lost respect for you. Because, I'll tell you what. I thought I knew what kind of man you were. What you made me go through, I would never want my children having a father like you."

Juan Pablo gave his final rose to the other finalist, Nikki Ferrell, but did not propose. By the end of 2014, they'd decided to end their relationship. He married Venezuelan model and TV host Osmariel Villalobos in 2017.

Zack Kalter

During her first season of Bachelor in Paradise, Clare had a brief relationship with Zack Kalter, who had been on Desiree Hartsock's Bachelorette season. They "dated" on the show for a few weeks, but after growing tired of the drama, Clare decided to leave the show, and with it, her relationship with Zack.

Benoit Beauséjour-Savard

Clare's second season on Bachelor in Paradise didn't yield any actual relationship, just a few dates, but her time on Bachelor Winter Games was much more successful. She and Bachelorette Canada contestant Benoit seemed to really hit it off, until she had a date with another contestant and Benoit chose to quit the show. But that wasn't the end for them: on the reunion show, Clare and Benoit revealed they'd gotten back together, and he proposed live on TV!

Sadly, their engagement only lasted a few months, and they broke up later in 2018. However, it seems like they've managed to stay amicable, at least. When Clare was announced as the new Bachelorette, Benoit posted a cute throwback picture of them on Instagram, captioned, "Congratulations to this gem!! She will be an amazing Bachelorette. She is smart, fun, strong, knows what she wants and most importantly, she will call out the guys messing around!! Hell yeah!! Good Luck on your journey to find love @clarecrawley !! You will be the best #thebestbacheloretteever"
