In a Last-Ditch Holiday Effort, Toys R Us Will Have Hatchimals in Stock This Sunday

Hatchimals have been literally the only toy on most kids' minds this holiday season, so if you're still hopelessly looking for one despite a surge in shipments of the speckled eggs to Target and Walmart last weekend, Toys R Us wants to come in in the clutch at the last minute.

The Hatchimals ($80) will be available when doors open at Toys R Us stores on Dec. 18 at 6 a.m. local time, and additional shipments of the toy will arrive throughout the following week leading up to the holiday weekend. Toys R Us is also offering its rewards members a chance to win a $1,000 gift card and a Hatchimal by shopping in stores with their Rewards R Us number from now until Dec. 22 — a winner will be drawn every day until then.
