There’s Another Kotb Girl! Hoda Adopted a Second Daughter, and Her Name Is So Fitting

Hoda Kotb is a mom again! The Today show co-anchor announced the news on Tuesday, April 16, over the phone during the show's episode. With all of her fellow hosts gathered around a table, she announced: "It's a girl! And her name is Hope."

Hope Catherine Kotb was welcomed home this week, and her mama actually chose to tease her name before officially announcing the news of her adoption. On Monday, Hoda shared an image on her Instagram of a cloudy background with the words "Choose Hope" over top. Now that Hope has been introduced to the world, everything is clicking together.

Hoda, who is also mom to 2-year-old Haley Joy — who she adopted in 2017shared with her Today show counterparts, who were all wiping away tears: "I can't believe it . . . I'm so happy she's here." As for big sister, Haley Joy? "She was literally marching around saying, 'I'm a big sister!'"

Congratulations to the adorable family!
