Plenty of stars show up to The Tonight Show in short, sparkling minidresses fitting for cocktail hour. But not Adele. Like most things Adele does, her outfit choice was a step above the rest.
The singer paid a visit to Jimmy Fallon in a Spring '16 Valentino
midi dress that was embroidered with a lovely pattern in the perfect Fall tones: deep royal blue, oxblood, and light orange. Her design featured panels of white, gray, and plum along the bodice and a red strip along the hemline, and she rounded out her ensemble with matching suede pumps.
Adele did plenty of things in her wonderful dress; she played Box of Lies, sang "Water Under the Bridge," and discussed her SNL performance. In short, she proved that a comfortable, standout maxi goes a long way this season.
