London Fashion Week in 5 Minutes: Everything You Need to Know

The accessories at Emilio de la Morena's show turned as many heads as the clothes, as models in romantic dresses sported lacy eye masks.

Xiao Li followed the trend for statement accessories by putting models in plastic goggles to match the curvy creations they wore. This was one designer who'd clearly paid attention to Pantone's colours of 2016 as both rose quartz and serenity featured heavily!

At Mother of Pearl, pretty dresses with a vintage twist were the order of the day. Red poppy prints and houndstooth prints combined for a perfect print clash.

Amanda Wakeley showed a suitably elegant collection of chic separates, beautiful evening gowns, and cosy coats. Plus, watch out for the amazing accessories, the bags were seriously stylish.

Joseph tackled layering in new ways, fastening corsets over chunky knitwear and adding badges and patches to add a personalised touch to each piece. Look out for the pleated skirts, wide trousers, and chic coats.

Little Lord Fauntleroy inspired Osman's collection, which definitely wasn't short on frills. Black, white, and red featured heavily, especially on the statement-making red carpet dresses.

Christopher Kane's glamorous grannies sported rain hoods, chunky knits, and the family jewels in a collection that channelled the decaying glamour of the ladies of Grey Gardens.

Christopher Kane riffed on a patchwork theme at Burberry, with a collection full of killer coats, sparkly dresses, and slinky pleated pieces. Keep an eye out for the new patchwork bag, too. It's bound to be a collector's item.

Roksanda Ilincic surprised us all with a procession of beautiful evening gowns fit for the red carpet. These lacy numbers are made for British ingénues.

Erdem paid homage to '30s screen sirens, but also found a way to weave in Edwardian necklines, fringing, and bold florals. Dress after dress will make you swoon.

Sophia Webster quoted Beetlejuice on her invitations and showed a tongue-in-cheek gothic collection on models dressed up like Lydia Deetz. As ever, this was about so much more than the accessories. The designer's presentations have quickly become a LFW must-see moment.

Alexander McQueen made a welcome return to London Fashion Week, showing a dream of a collection (quite literally) with a nighttime inspiration. The gowns were simply stunning.

Temperley took us sailing on the seven seas with her sirens in a collection that combined pirate jackets with wench dresses, and included delicate embroidery taken from tattoo motifs. We'll raise a glass of grog to that!

Topshop Unique mixed the masculine with the feminine, showing a Shakespeare-inspired collection that was heavy on statement coats, slinky dresses, and woodland prints.

Suki Waterhouse braved the cold outside the Topshop Unique show at the Tate Britain, wearing a look from the Topshop Unique Spring 2016 collection.

David Koma continued to prove he's the uncontested king of the little black dress with a collection heavy on his trademark look. Chain-link details, cutouts, oversize jewels, and all manner of sparkle took the look to new levels for Autumn/Winter 2016.

Mary Katrantzou's ingenious way with colour, print, and embellishment was on full display in her feminine collection. Necklines came hugged by oversize butterflies, and prim collared minis came covered in intricate details.

Preen opened the third day of LFW with a bang, showing a moody collection heavy on devoré velvet, grungy glamour, and glam rock sequins. If this collection doesn't persuade you that florals are just as great in the Winter as they are in the Spring, nothing will.

Flapper girls met glam rock groupies at House of Holland, where designer Henry Holland presented his usual fun and frantic brand of UK style. If you're not wearing a Liza top next Winter, perhaps you will be slipping into a sparkly two-piece.

Feminine glamour got roughed up around the edges at Simone Rocha, where her usual brand of dressed-down decadence was stronger than ever. There was a look to suit every aspect of your personality, from gathered coats to lacy midi dresses to plenty of classic black.

Emilia Wickstead opted for dramatic silhouettes and muted tones with a collection that harked to the '60s with its colours and prints, but still managed to feel modern and chic.

Holly Fulton wowed with a series of monochrome paisley prints on coats, dungarees, shirts, and dresses, before the collection dissolved into retro khaki and pink ensembles.

Shrimps proved it's a line that offers far more than just brilliant faux fur, with a collection that included some amazing leather biker jackets and sheer printed separates. Those furs weren't in short supply, though, printed with cartoon scrawls, or in cute pink stripes.

The fash pack headed to Chelsea, where Barbara Casasola showed a muted collection of tailoring and separates that included a lot of sheer, body-revealing knits and slouchy, soft-touch coats.

Sisters Alice and Charlotte Dellal hit the catwalk together for the latter's Charlotte Olympia show. The much-loved accessories brand staged a full runway show for the first time during London Fashion Week.

Daks took us to the darker side with a decadent collection that paid homage to the dinner jacket. In the luxurious surroundings of the Langham hotel, models hit the catwalk in black, black, and more black, topped with heavy tassels and swathes of sheer chiffon.

Designer Yana Chervinska decided to go stag during her presentation, which was part of On|Off London Fashion Week, a separate schedule of events that complements London Fashion Week and supports emerging talent.

Eudon Choi was feeling the blues with a collection that included stunning prints in soft, sheer fabrics. Look out for those bell sleeves in more collections to come.

Bora Aksu staged a folksy show full of dramatic crochet and lace dresses, which perfectly fitted the dramatic surroundings of the church of St Andrew in Holborn.

The Felder sisters put a space-age spin on their trademark skater dress, showing this ornate silver creation as part of the Felder Felder Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. The rest of the show featured everything from sheer chain-mail knits to a series of statement outerwear options. We loved the textured quilted coats and fluffy silver-trimmed jackets.
