Louis Vuitton Cruise Show 2019
The Louis Vuitton Cruise Collection Includes Adorable Cat Pouches, and You'll Want Them Now
After hosting shows in Palm Springs, Rio, and Tokyo, Nicolas Ghesquière went back to his roots for the 2019 Louis Vuitton Cruise Show. On May 28, guests spent a fashionable evening at the Fondation Maeght, a private art foundation tucked away in the South of France.
As models walked around Joan Miró sculptures, stars like Emma Stone, Justin Theroux, and Sophie Turner were treated to an eccentric collection full of oversize dresses, sequins, and feathers, which were accessorized with quirky cat bags and dog pouches designed for the occasion by Grace Coddington. "We're very close friends and I love everything he does, so he asked me to work with him, and it was more than a pleasure," the former creative director of Vogue explained.
