Victoria Then Explained How Special the Show Would Be

This season marks the beginning of our tenth anniversary year. I wanted this Autumn/Winter 2018 presentation to be a quiet celebration of where we have come since those very first appointments here in New York. This new, more intimate space allows for the construction and details of the garments to be seen from a new perspective. Silhouettes are sometimes complex, multi-layered and multi-textured. Waists are drawn in tightly, shoulders are emphasised, knits curve 360-degrees at the cuff. The strength of cut, layering and fabrics can be seen and heard, enhancing the sense of three-dimensionality I wanted to achieve. These clothes embrace the contours of the female form, echoing the design aesthetic that I originally started with. Here, a decade on, it is strong - presented in a new elevated and evolved form for my woman today. #VBAW18 #NYFW

As this year marks the 10th anniversary of her brand, she decided to do things a bit differently. As explained on her Instagram, Victoria chose to hold the event at the James Burden Mansion on Manhattan's Upper East Side, a more intimate show space full of natural light and mirrored surfaces that allowed "the construction and details of the garments to be seen from a new perspective."
