Anna Faris Video For KIND Protein Bars

You've Never Laughed This Hard About Protein Bars Before — and Neither Has Anna Faris

Protein bars can taste like sh*t, or according to one real review "garbage and resentment" among other disturbing things. In a hilarious campaign for the new KIND Protein bars, Anna Faris read through some alarmingly candid reviews of competitor protein bars in partnership with Funny or Die. Because you shouldn't have to give up yumminess for the sake of your health, KIND decided it was time to take action, creating KIND Protein, dubbed in a press release as "the first protein bar that tastes nothing like a protein bar."

Anna stands by this description, telling POPSUGAR that she actually thought she was eating a candy bar when she first tried the new KIND bars. And we can all agree that a "candy bar" is a far cry from the "sawdust" review one competitor consumer so kindly detailed in the video.

The new bars are available online starting Jan. 17 and will hit stores next month. The launch includes four non-sh*tty flavors like Crunchy Peanut Butter, White Chocolate Cinnamon Almond, Toasted Caramel Nut, and Double Dark Chocolate Nut, with 12 grams of protein each. Watch the video above, and prepare to laugh over the far too accurate protein bar reviews.
