Kim's Amazing Booty Transformation Proves Weightlifting Beats Cardio

There are probably many of you who can relate to these before-and-after photos of Kim French, a fitness personality on Instagram with nearly 25,000 followers. In one of her recent posts, she wrote about how she was once "training to be skinny vs. training to be strong." In order to lose weight, Kim, like many of us, made the mistake of "undereating and constantly doing cardio."

Kim did this for six months, and she did lose weight, but she also experienced the following:

"I was 'skinny fat' and hated my body.
My confidence was at an all-time low.
I was discouraged as was putting in so much effort with my exercise and diet and not getting anywhere.
HANGRY is an understatement."

Does this sound familiar? After a year of going to the gym, Kim loves skipping cardio and training with weights instead. Since every workout is different, she doesn't get bored, and it motivates her to work out. Plus she's now noticing:

"My muscles have given my body curves = #murves 👏🏻 .
my confidence has shot through the roof, I don't give a flying f*ck what anyone thinks about me anymore. I'm happy with my body and that's all that matters.
Did you know I eat like a 🐷now? I eat 5 meals a day, a fresh balanced diet and cheat meals. I put all the carbs to good use, they are your friend."
