A classic favorite with a new upgrade for the season: the Brooks Glycerin 14 is a runner's favorite for a neutral ride. The metallic, somewhat reflective detailing is a nice touch for low-light runs.

New Balance Women's Vazee Pace v2
These subtle, muted colors are the perfect transition from Summer brights, especially for those of you who still need a bit of color in the cooler months. They're breathable, lightweight, and just cushioned enough to keep you comfortable but fast.

A tried-and-true fan favorite: the Mizuno Wave Rider. While we anxiously await the 20, these 19s come in a stylish purple, which is perfectly on-trend for the season.

Water resistant, stable, comfortable, and great for both concrete and dirt: these held up during our run through the San Francisco Half-Marathon across the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as our jaunts through hilly trails in Golden Gate Park. They're absolutely ideal for Fall runs.

If maximalist shoes are your jam, you're likely already familiar with the entire line at Hoka One One. The seemingly bulky shoe is astonishingly light (read: you don't feel like you're wearing skis), but the ride is impossibly cushiony and smooth.
