Pretty much everyone I know would call me a "health nut" and yet most of these don't apply to me. ;)

Well, I for one can relate to this post, finally something I score a perfect 10 on! lol! I would also like to add "you know you are a health nut if you use a dehydrator more than a stove or oven"

Hmm... well over 85% of my fridge is stocked with veggies and fruit :) But i wouldn't call myself a health nut.

Ha, I'm not THAT obsessed, but I would call myself a health-nut compared to the rest of my family and friends. Here's another one for you: You know which foods contain high-fructose corn syrup and avoid them whenever possible

well I'm not quite a health nut but a lot of that stems from not being able to afford a lot of the whole foods produce and even some of the farmer markets are a tad on the expensive side

I have to say... I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE health nut, but almost none of the above applies to me. I don't let hydrogenated oils pass my lips though - EVER!!!

I'm at about half, ESPECIALLY number 4. My mom thinks I'm nuts but I'm just so against white bread these days! I'd like to increase my number though and become an official health nut! :) It's hard though, living at home and still depending on parents who pretty much repel good health :/

I don't consider myself a health nut, but definitely healthy. :) More than half apply to me.

I eat kale chips and hummus! Why? Because they are deliciousssss. It's funny that "healthy food" gets a bad rap, because honestly, the most delicious things I can think of are also some of the healthiest. Miso-glazed salmon! Sauteed garlicky chard! Roasted sweet potatoes! Oh man, I'm making myself hungry right now. Seriously, kale done right is heaven. Ditto with brussels sprouts. On a side note, totally agree with the white bread statement. I grew up in a household where white bread was considered junk food.

I think I'm a health nut but I'm not THAT obsessed. I think its important to look after yourself, but it's alright to have a little fun too, even if it means bringing chips to a party, I mean come on, who really eats kale chips & hummus other than health nuts? And we can't expect EVERYONE to be health nuts, its just impossible.

7/10 And I agree with guavajelly, I'm always reworking supposedly "reworked" recipes.

Ummm... since I'm a vegan, that's pretty much me! (Except #4... I'm not a freak when it comes to white bread. Not my bread of choice, but I don't have a fit if it's white)

8/10! Love this post. I would also add "You rework healthy recipes that are already technically reworked. I've been doing that lately, since many so called healthy recipes still call for white sugar and other in indiscretions.

Lol great post! I have 8 of 10 (I don't like kale chips and there's no flax in my kitchen right now). But getting excited like a kid in a candy store when hitting the produce section should be added. That's me!

I'm only guilty of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10. Guess I'm not a health food nut... I can't stand when people are though- only the ones that preach to everyone and show a face of disgust when they're eating something non-organic.

what about eating out? I only fit some of those descriptions up above but I also tend not to eat out because I want to know exactly what is going into my meals!
